Applicable Legal Bases

Under Swiss Law

If you are located in Switzerland, your personal data is processed under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Unlike the EU GDPR, the FADP does not generally require the identification of a specific legal basis for processing personal data. Processing is carried out in good faith, lawfully, and proportionately (Article 6(1)-(2) FADP). Furthermore, personal data is collected only for a specific, identifiable purpose and processed only in a manner compatible with that purpose (Article 6(3) FADP).

Business Services

We process the data of our contractual and business partners (hereinafter referred to collectively as “contractual partners”) within the scope of contractual or comparable legal relationships and related measures, as well as for communication purposes (including pre-contractual correspondence).

We process this data to fulfil our contractual obligations, such as providing the agreed services, updating obligations, and remedies in the case of warranty or performance issues. Furthermore, we process data to protect our rights and for administrative, organisational, and security purposes in relation to our business operations.

Where necessary, we may share personal data with third parties such as telecommunications and logistics providers, subcontractors, banks, tax and legal advisors, payment processors, or financial authorities, strictly for the purposes outlined above or to comply with legal obligations.

We inform our partners in advance (e.g., in online forms or at the time of data collection) which data is required for these purposes.

We delete personal data upon expiry of statutory warranty or comparable obligations—generally after four years—unless longer retention is required by law (for example, tax retention obligations up to ten years). Data disclosed to us as part of an order will be deleted after completion in accordance with contractual requirements.

E-Commerce and Order Fulfilment

We process our customers’ data to enable them to select, purchase, and order the chosen products or services, to facilitate payment, and to provide or deliver the order.
Where necessary, we use third-party service providers (e.g., postal, courier, or logistics companies) for delivery. For payment transactions, we work with banks and payment service providers.

Required information is clearly indicated during the ordering process and includes all details needed for delivery, fulfilment, and invoicing, as well as contact details to resolve any queries.
Legal Basis: Performance of contract and pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).

Use of Cookies

“Cookies” are small data files stored on users’ devices. They may serve various purposes such as functionality, security, convenience, or analytics.

We use cookies in accordance with legal requirements. If necessary, we obtain prior user consent. Where consent is not required, cookies are processed based on our legitimate interests—specifically when storage and access are essential to provide requested features or content.

Users can withdraw consent at any time. We provide clear information regarding which cookies are used and their purpose.

Retention Periods

  • Session (temporary) cookies: deleted when the user closes the browser or application.

  • Persistent cookies: remain stored beyond the session to preserve preferences or login status and may last up to two years unless otherwise specified.

Users can revoke consent or object to cookie use through browser settings or opt-out tools.

Legal Bases:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR)

Contact and Enquiry Management

When you contact us (by post, email, phone, contact form, or social media) or within an existing business relationship, we process the personal data you provide as necessary to respond to your enquiry or fulfil your request.

Data Processed

  • Inventory and contact data (name, address, phone number, email)

  • Content data (messages, attachments)

  • Usage data and metadata (timestamps, IP address, etc.)

Purposes of Processing

  • Communication and response to enquiries

  • Organisational and administrative management

  • Feedback collection

  • Optimisation of online services and user experience

Legal Bases:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR)

  • Performance of contract and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR)

Social Media Presence

We maintain online presences on social networks to communicate with users and provide information about our services.

User data may be processed outside the UK or EU, which may limit the enforceability of certain data subject rights.

Social networks often process user data for marketing and analytics purposes, such as creating usage profiles to deliver targeted advertising. Cookies and cross-device tracking are typically used.

For details of each provider’s data processing and opt-out options, please refer to their individual privacy notices.

If you wish to exercise your data rights, it is most effective to contact the relevant network provider directly. You may also contact us for assistance.
